Brown County State Park, Nashville, IN to Fish Creek Campground, Spencer, IN
I have followed this route into and through Indiana because I wished to pass through Bloomington. Now, perhaps you are asking why? One of my most favorite films was Breaking Away, and it was set in Bloomington. I did not stop and sight-see nor did I try to find locations from the film; neither of those things were my goal. My goal was to pass through this place that was the setting of one of my most favorite films thereby having some small connection with the film that I am certain had a subconscious impact on my decision to ride my bicycle across the Continental United States. I camp in Fish Creek Campground in Owen-Putnam State Forest, a primitive honor system campground.
